The Honeymoon

And away we go... finally! After going through almost 300 photos, here is a choice selection from our Hawaii getaway, starting with Oahu, on Honolulu's Waikiki Beach. Awesome sunsets and views from our hotel. With our good friend Herb, we toured Pearl Harbor, offering a rush of historical pride like none I'd known, especially standing over the sunk USS Arizona, containing the remains of hundreds of Marines and Navy men. We ate at Popeye's, my favorite fast food restaurant (which doesn't exist in Reno), and saw the Dole pineapple plantation and a blue stop sign (only in Hawaii). We stopped at one of many shrimp meal trucks on the island and had some amazing spicy shrimp, and then toured the very cool Polynesian Cultural Center. Then it was off to Maui, which we saw from our quite spectacular hotel (providing more excellent sunsettage), from helicopter, and by horseback. Now: please share with us and enjoy!

Wedding Day... There is Love!

And away we go! Three years after our first date, and one year after the date of our engagement, Mary Lee and I traded rings and made it legal. We're married! Thank you all who were there, in person and in spirit. Meghan and Josh... wow. What a dinner! The weather was perfect and it was an amazing day. But for now, we're off to Hawaii, after which, I'll post pics of that beautiful land. Aloha!
