Congrats, Courtney!

The long haul of college work finally pays off with a diploma allowing Courtney to be employed in the field of social work with troubled kids. Congratulations, I'm very proud of you, and I love you!

Thanks, Paul and Debbie!

Mary Lee's brother Paul and his wife Debbie were gracious enough to host us for the last few days of our stay. They have an amazing home in Naples, surrounded, basically, by forest. Nice. We also visited with Mary Lee's nephew Nathan and his kids. A wonderful and air guitar-filled end to an amazing Florida week.

The Everglades

I had always wanted to see the Everglades and ride in an airboat. Now I've done both! Mary Lee and I headed out with her brother Paul, his son and HIS son to check out alligators (one of which I got to hold), raccoons, pelicans, a downed bridge and the overall extreme coolness of the Florida Glades. 'Tres cool.

The Beginnings of Modern Technology

Being a radio and TV guy, a must-see in Florida for me was the Thomas Edison museum in Fort Myers. Amazing display of early phonographs, cameras, lightbulbs, etc. Wow. You gotta see this place.

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Since we were in Florida for our second anniversary, it seemed appropriate to stop at Honeymoon Island for an afternoon of gorgeous beachside relaxation. Three years coming up!
