A quick weekend for Mary Lee's birthday (though late, because of scheduling) to Gold Hill, Nevada... a tiny and very old mining town outside Virginia City. The oldest hotel in the state offers several lovely cottages, surrounded by lavendar and other plantlife, and we were close to the cemetery (LOVE old cemeteries!), one of whose residents apparently really liked toys.
I am SO bad at updating this thing. So before we meet the one-year anniversary of my 2010 birthday, here are pics of the fantastic weekend Mary Lee treated me to, to celebrate my 46th. We had an amazing condo at the Resort at Squaw Creek, southwest of Reno near Lake Tahoe, then took a snowmobile trip in the snowy 60-degree Sierra (odd for April), and bookended the weekend with trips to two restaurants featured on one of my favorite shows, "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives"... Burger Me and Jax Diner in Truckee. Yum!
It's the exciting world of Pat Thomas and Mary Lee Ramassini... or Thomassini, for short. Please visit early and often; I'm not as good at updating as I wish I were, but I do it as much as I can. Enjoy our life with us... and please feel free to contact us at gb9876@sbcglobal.net!
Mary Lee is the proud mother of Devin, who made her a grandma June 24th, 2008, courtesy of adorable Daiden, and Meghan, who was married September 15th, 2008, to Josh. Mary Lee is the director of air programs and transportation at Harrah's Reno and Tahoe, part of the biggest casino/entertainment company in the world. Pat is the proud dad of college student Kevin, and is assignment manager at KOLO-TV in Reno. And Mary Lee and Pat, after exactly three years together, joined in wedded bliss in their Sparks, Nevada backyard on October 7th, 2008, with a small group of family members. :)
